When starting a new thread you should follow a few simple steps:
1. Do a quick search and make sure there isn't already a similar thread out there.
* If there's already a thread, post your question or comment there.
* If there's a similar thread, but your subject is significantly different, start a new thread
* If there is no thread on your subject, start a new one.
2. Make sure you're posting in the correct board - find the board which best suits your topic.
3. Create a Subject line which is informative yet brief. Save the bulk of your text for the body of your post, but people should be able to get a good idea of your topic just by reading the subject line. Pretty Pony! is not particularly informative, My Newest Hunter Custom is better. Using keywords such as mold names helps make search querries more effective.
4. Utilize line breaks. A wall-o-text is painful and difficult to read, especially on a phone or tablet. Be merciful and throw in a line break when blocks of text start to get bulky.
5. Use punctuation, font size and style sparingly. Giant or tiny font and wide swaths of bold or italic text is hard on the eyes. One (two if you must) exclamation points or question marks will get your point across even better than a full line of them.
6. Go easy on the emoticons. Excessive use of those little faces, especially the animated ones can drastically slow down load time for slower computers or small devices and can get irritating really fast.
7. Write clearly, to the best of your ability, and avoid text speak. Keep in mind the difficulty of conveying tone through text.
8. Check back periodically for responses and respond when appropriate. Be prepared for dissenting opinions on controversial topics. Disagreement is not necessarily bullying.
9. Please do not *bump* your posts. Allow your thread to work its way off the main page if the topic does not generate interest.

Don't panic if you create a duplicate thread or post in the wrong forum. PM Admin or a moderator or simply post *Please move* or *please delete* in your thread and it will be taken care of.
